If things are so good, why do we feel so bad?
At the psychiatric clinic Care, profit comes before people—and handing out diagnoses is more rewarding than actually helping anyone feel better. Psychology student Johannes doesn’t exactly fit in during his internship, but everything changes when he meets a group of misfit patients: Rose, who’s dealing with mysterious pain “down there,” Markus, a realtor who can’t stop crying at open houses, Emily, who’s mid-ADHD assessment, and Rakel, a performance artist who literally dances her way through personal injustice. Together, they form an unlikely alliance—The Dance Club—where they ask a radical question: are there ways to heal that don’t involve pills and labels?
