Cinema Artis invites you to explore the diversity of Swedish cinema! Over five days, the screen will showcase both fresh releases and beloved classics. Whether it’s a drama based on true events, sharp social criticism, or a timeless love story – each film offers a unique perspective on Swedish cinema. All screenings start at 19:00.

📽 March 14 – "Swedish Torpedo" (Frida Kempff, 2024)
The story of Sally Bauer, the first Swedish woman to swim across the English Channel. An inspiring film about determination and self-overcoming. Produced in collaboration with Estonia.

📽 March 15 – "A Swedish Love Story" (Roy Andersson, 1970)
A tender, melancholic, and timeless love story of two teenagers whose relationship faces the challenges of the adult world.

📽 March 16 – "Cairo Conspiracy" (Tarik Saleh, 2022)
A gripping political thriller about a young student caught in a power struggle at Al-Azhar University. Winner of the Best Screenplay award at Cannes.

📽 March 17 – "Triangle of Sadness" (Ruben Östlund, 2021)
A satirical and sharp social critique that turns a luxury cruise upside down. Winner of the Palme d’Or at Cannes.

📽 March 18 – "Comedy Queen" (Sanna Lenken, 2022)
12-year-old Sasha dreams of becoming a comedian to face life's hardships with humor. A heartfelt and captivating coming-of-age story.
