Drag

Director: Robertas Nevecka
Year: 2025
Length: 4 min 44 sec
Country: Lithuania
Production: Filmset Chronicles

A music video made for the punk-orchestra Lapkričio dvidešimtosios orkestras, based in the underground of Vilnius, Lithuania, embraces chaos as its aesthetic. It transforms glitches, fragmented scans, and digital noise into a raw, unpredictable visual experience. Using Blender and a simple scanning app, the video distorts reality, rejecting polished CGI in favor of a pixelated, unfiltered world. The band’s fusion of distorted sound and glitchy imagery mirrors their experimental approach to music. In this “Glitchpunk Odyssey,” imperfection becomes an art form, proving that rebellion thrives in digital disorder.

Year: 2024
Length: 10 min 32 sec
Country: Germany
Production: Wait a Second!

War for our attention has suddenly become an actual war. Information technologies appear not just as mere means for somebody’s ends but as something having their agency, as one of the acting forces rendering possible a horrific event, which is very hard to accept and almost impossible to comprehend. We have no control over it and are doomed to scroll through the newsfeed.

Format Error Occurred at Offset

Director: Zirui Chen
Year: 2024
Length: 11 min 44 sec
Country: Germany
Production: Kunsthochschule Kassel

The film cuts through the administrative paperwork required for the director to live in different countries and explores the ambiguity and fragility of identity in the bureaucratic system, in the cultural context and in today's social industry. Bureaucracies construct individual systemic identities in a series of mechanisms intended to sustain the functioning of society. Underneath the bureaucracy there is a deeper psychological need to commit to ‘sacred’ beliefs or to abandon silly ‘superstitions’. People are shaped by what they create or by what they destroy. In the artificial intelligence industry, which alleges to represent the future, the human subject is the first to disappear, and what comes sooner than the promise of the future is more efficient globalised exploitation.

Last Year in Wisborg

Director: Stuart Pound
Year: 2023
Length: 4 min 20 sec
Country: United Kingdom
Production: Stuart Pound

All our heads have a moving collage in them of impressions and appropriations. In “last year in Wisborg”, clips from F.W.Murnau's 1922 film “Nosferatu” mix with colour film of a blue sky, a painting by the filmmaker and his own hand. The undead remember before and after their death. This double nostalgia of the Count's existence is felt in the meditative soundtrack.
